10/24/21—Chickens of the Sea & Land - In the Coop with Wayne

If you've already read Heroes of Time Legends: Murdoch's Choice, then you might remember that chickens are kept aboard Captain Murdoch's ship, the Queenie.  This practice has roots in our real history, as egg-laying hens were often kept on board military, pirate, and other sailing vessels.  The eggs from these hens provided a crucial source of food and protein out on the open seas.  So, in today's video I thought it might be fun to show you - you guessed it - chickens!  Joined by my trusty assistant, we take you on a quick tour of a chicken-friendly southern Indiana homestead.  Hope you enjoy!
