Murdoch 2 Teaser Sample for 2/22/2022!

On this special “Twosday,” I thought it very fitting to follow the theme of twos and provide a teaser sample of the material I'm working on for the sequel to Heroes of Time Legends: Murdoch's Choice.  This sample comes to us from within “Chapter 2: One Night Back.”

I very rarely do this.  This is material from the initial draft of the chapter, without any professional editing other than my own first pass.  I figure it's a small enough sample that I should be reasonably safe, and hopefully long enough to give you a taste.  The final version will likely have some changes and be a bit more polished.

And what a cool date this is: 2/22/2022.  This is considered both a palindrome and an ambigram.  It's a palindrome because it reads the same forward and backward.  It's an ambigram because you can also flip it upside down and it still reads the same.  This works especially well when the twos are written in a digital style and using the date format more common outside the USA (22-02-2022), as such:
