As we've worked on the ensemble audiobook of Murdoch's Choice, casting has honestly been a challenge. It's a huge amount of work to produce, so we want to get the characters' voices just right.

Early on, the character of Thresh from the game League of Legends stood out as an inspiration for the voice of Vidimir. As various actors auditioned for the role, we showed them videos of him and suggested they try for a similar tone and style. None quite made the cut when it came down to it.

Until we decided to reach out to Mark Oliver, who voiced the character of Thresh in the first place.

You may also know him from Dungeons & Dragons Online as the voice of the iconic villain, Vecna!

He's been in everything from animated Barbie movies (although no, not that Barbie movie) to a couple episodes of Stargate SG-1, and multiple voices in The Lord of the Rings Online.

And now, we are pleased to announce Mark Oliver as the voice of High Count Vidimir Tefu!
